Set-up client’s accounts
Our dedicated bookkeepers work closely with our client base to set up the process to capture financial data accurately within their internal bookkeeping systems. Through our cloud based software packages we provide guidance and support to ensure the set-up is best suited to the need of our client’s business.
Initial set up of the accounts platform to record all data directly from bank feeds minimises double entry recording and potential for error. Our preferred office provider is XERO accountancy software however we are proficient with all industry software providers.
Processing Data within Software
Utilising cloud based software provides the most efficient way to update, record and reconcile day to day transactions and provides our office with immediate access to review and amend if required. We have the ability to assist clients at varying levels to ensure data entry is always up to date and accurate.
Our in house bookkeepers work closely with our clients and can look after the bookkeeping functionality in full or in part depending on the client’s needs and requirements. We are often used as a resource and promote our involvement to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Preparation of Reconciliations
With accurate data entry, the reporting and reconciliation process should be seamless. Our staff perform checks and balances to ensure bank accounts and loan accounts reconcile to source documents and that GST and PAYG withholding are disclosed accurately to the ATO. We lodge monthly/quarterly BAS returns directly from our ATO portal and can liaise directly with the ATO regarding payment if required.
Maintenance and review of clients data
Most importantly our staff ensure our client base is fully supported in running and managing their internal accounts. Our staff can deal with a client’s internal accounts staff or be responsible for the entirety of the bookkeeping function. Nothing is too complex for our experienced team and we would be happy to engage to run through the process step by step.
